The Brief

Sydney's largest annual summer festival, Sydney Festival needed a creative outdoor solution to promote over 114 live performances plus over 80 free events.


The Campaign

We put together a wide-reaching campaign to promote the 2016 festival. Focussing on the summer outdoors and school holidays, we utilised our street teams to spread the message around key-locations. Our street team also assisted in promoting 'The Ephemeral City' a key free event with their mascot Boxy and street teamers in key locations around the city. Our street team were able to gain access to high-traffic in major cultural and community hot-spots where traditional posters and flyers weren't possible.


  • 6,500+ program brochures distributed to local cafes, cultural and community centres. 
  • Peer-to-peer street-teamers at seven key train stations targeting over 130,000 commuters each afternoon during peek-time.
  • Over 30 street teamers (and one box!) over a 3 week campaign.
